Prospective Students
What it's like
Our department doesn’t have any huge classes and you will be taught by our professors rather than TAs. Our classes range from 10-50 students. Students taking their first course often remark, “This is not like any other class I have taken, it’s a totally unique way of learning.” Each professor has their own unique way of teaching, but students are taken aback when the professor questions the material they assigned and encourages the students to do the same, asking: Is this true? Why do they believe this? How can we support or undermine their theory? The conversations and questions don’t end when the class ends.
